Dear Readers: Former Bush Press Secretary Scott McClellan exposed the tip of a very dirty iceberg last week in his new book, detailing a few lies about the war in Iraq. To see the rest of the iceberg, read THE SHELL GAME. The novel, written as a cautionary tale, warns of what is coming down the road that affects all of us. For those of you preferring escapism in your leisure reading, The LOCH debuts in mass market paperback around Halloween, followed by MEG: HELL'S AQUARIUM in May 2009. With that, here's your June update:

MEG MOVIE update
A new script that more closely follows the original storyline is being read by a major director. Producers include Belle Avery, Lloyd Levin and Larry Gordon (Hellboy 1 & 2) and yes Nick Nunziata is back. More on these developments as it comes.

PHOBOS update
For those DOMAIN fans (among the more passionate fans to be sure) I have NOT forgotten about PHOBOS, part three of the trilogy. The storyline is outlined, and I will probably start writing the book in late fall 2008, targeting Summer 2010 as a release (possibly sooner). DOMAIN was a big best-seller in Spain this year and received more attention than it did in the States. Hopefully we'll get interest for a movie after MEG moves into development, which would push up a release date.

LIVING TIPS: Permaculture
Permaculture is the principles for developing and designing sustainable human settlements. For our purposes, it means creating backyard ecosystems that grow fruit and vegetables using limited resources. Personally, I know nothing about gardening, but with gas prices continuing to rise and the threat of major changes in our lifestyles potentially looming down the road, permaculture offers us options. I've begun reading about it, and will soon start growing a few edibles, hoping to eventually expand. One thing I do know: Organic is far better than processed, and eating better can only help my own situation (Parkinsons). Google PERMACULTURE and check into it!
