In this newsletter I include APPEARANCE INFO including an April 8th stop in Venice beach, FLORIDA and the West Coast (California) Tour info (April 22- May 2) as well as a new CHARACTER CONTEST update, plus info about this month’s NEW RELEASE which includes info about being a character in MEG 4 and a signed poster giveaway!
COMING in APRIL: The LOCH in trade paperback!
Trade paperbacks are hardback-size soft covers, retailing for only $14.95 They
will begin appearing in stores in mid-April, but If you ask for them now, you
can probably get one. Barnes & Noble will have them on all of their front
tables. First printing was only 20,000 copies and we already have pre-orders
for over 30,000, sending us into another printing. So if you see one, grab it!
First editions are always worth more. The book also includes MEG-4 contest info.
The LOCH MOVIE?

Sometime in April we will be pitching THE LOCH as a movie to a major studio.
Guys. I really need your help. If you’ve never read The LOCH, now is the
time, I guarantee you will enjoy it. If you have, tell others to purchase a
copy ASAP. If you have a friend or loved one with a birthday coming up, buy
a copy and send me an e-mail, I will add a birthday bookplate to the gift.
How important are LOCH sales in April? It could mean the difference between
a LOCH movie and even the greenlighting of MEG! So please, spread the word!

Steve Alten West Coast Tour:

I will be touring the Los Angeles and San Diego area from April 21st to May
2nd with the 6-foot skull of the Loch Ness Monster! Below is just the bare bones
schedule, more dates will be added. I will send out a revised list days before
the tour begins.

of MEG teeth)

Directions from I-75: Take I-75 to Exit 193 (old 35), Jacaranda Blvd. (From the South, make a left off the exit; from the North make a right off the exit.) Take a right on to Venice Ave. Continue straight, crossing over the Venice Ave. bridge and through the Venice retail business section, to Harbor Drive. Turn left (South) on Harbor Drive and continue until you reach the festival.

MEG MOVIE UPDATE
I wish I had something positive to report. So far the only movie New Line has approved is an $80 million version of HAIRSPRAY. Hang in there, one way or the other we will get ‘er done.
Cancer Prevention/Arthritis suffers:
FINALLY, in keeping with my policy of passing along information that I believe can be of great value to my readers, this month I am including contact info about an amazing new product called MONA-VIE.
