Who
was Professor Julius Gabriel?
The
late Julius Gabriel (born September 25, 1941) was the foremost authority
on the 2,500 year old Mayan Calendar, an enigma of astronomy and mathematics
that predicts humanity will come to a sudden and complete end on the
winter solstice (December 21st) in the year 2012.
Ridiculous? Before you scoff at this prediction, know this:
Even though it was invented 2,000 + years ago, the Mayan Calendar
is one-ten thousandth of a day more accurate than our most modern-day
calendar. It consists of three calendars, or wheels, in one, and is
able to trace specific dates back into the millions of years. The
Mayan Calendar divides history into five Great Cycles. We are currently
in the last cycle, which is forecast to end violently on December
21st (the winter solstice) in the year 2012.
The Maya were an enigma. Here was an ancient civilization that somehow
came into possession of advanced knowledge in astronomy, physics,
and mathematics yet never mastered the wheel.
It is said that the great teacher, Kukulcan was the calendar's inventor.
Kukulcan is described in both Mayan myth and artifacts as being a
large Caucasian, with long flowing white beard and hair, deep-blue
eyes, and an elongated skull. Desiring to emulate their wise leader,
the Mayan attempted to change the shape of their children's skulls
by strapping wooden boards to their infant's heads after birth. The
treatment forced the growing bone to deform and elongate.
This skull was excavated in La Venta, Mexico by Maria Rosen-Gabriel
(Julius's wife) back in 1969. Dental and X-ray examinations showed
the skull had NOT been deformed!
In almost every advanced ancient culture, there appears a similar
ly described wise man matching Kukulcan's appearance. The Egyptians
called him Osiris, to the Inca he was Viracocha, to the Aztecs, Quetzalcoatl.
The Kukulcan pyramid in Chichen Itza is an example of the unexplainable
Mayan ingenuity. The pyramid is a perfect ziggurat of stone, with
4 sides, each possessing 91 steps. With the platform at the top the
count it equals 365--as in days of the year. What is far more amazing
is that for over 1,000 years, on each Autumn and Spring Equinox, the
afternoon sun creates the shadow of a giant serpent on the pyramid's
northern balustrade. As the sun sets, the body of the serpent appears
to descend the steps to meet with its stone head.
What does it mean? Is it a warning?
When Kukulcan abandoned the Maya, his people began barbaric human
sacrifices, all in an effort to forestall the end of the world. Tens
of thousands of men, women, and children joined a procession atop
to Kukulcan pyramid where they would have their hearts cut out by
priests! It is said human blood ran down the stone steps like a red
river.
The Spanish conquistador, Cortez, invaded the Yucatan hundreds of
years after Kukulcan departed Chichen Itza. Both the Maya and Aztecs
surrendered, even though they greatly outnumbered the Spanish. Why?
Because they confused the bearded white man, Cortez as their leader
and believed he had returned to save them from the end of humanity.
For over 32 years, Professor Gabriel dedicated his life to learning
the truth about humanity's fate. Ancient clues led him to the Great
Pyramid of Giza, Stonehenge, the incredible Nazca Drawings, the Pyramid
of the Sun and the temple of Angkor Wat. Each one of these unexplainable
monoliths were related to the Mayan Calendar's prophecy.
Julius Gabriel was close to resolving these mysteries when he died.
His controversial Journal, now rumored to be under lock and key at
Cambridge University, may hold the secrets to the very salvation of
our species.
Some of these pages are actual excerpts from his Journal, which appear
